Quilters in the Memory Makers Quilt Guild gather monthly in Bay City. Their mission includes developing an appreciation for the art of quilting; educating the public on the history and artistry of quilt making and perpetuating and preserving the art. The Guild has been promoting the art of quilt making, since 1993 and show their work at an annual show at the Museum in Bay City.
The Bay Area Quilt Exhibition is another area quilt exhibition held each year in Palacios.
